Holdings: Sacramento Basin
The California properties of TexCal Energy are all natural gas sites in the Sacramento Basin of northern California. The 100 or so wells account for approximately 50 percent of total production for TexCal. The majority of the California wells benefit from long production histories and well established decline curves. In 2004, TexCal immediately started an active drilling program of its Proven Undeveloped (PUD) locations in the Grimes, Sutter Buttes, Sutter City and Sycamore fields. The investment has paid off, as TexCal's California fields have been recording record levels of production. TexCal's working interest in these drilling locations ranges from 72 percent to 100 percent.
